After working in the corporate world for over two years, I quickly realised it wasn't for me. So, like many, I decided to take a chance at pursuing what I loved doing – reading books! In 2015, along with my husband Rohan Raj, I co-founded Booknerds, a literary startup to connect readers and authors, and haven’t looked back since! The literary experiences we created have been experimental, bordering on sounding mad. I firmly believe that innovation in creating such experiences is the way forward for the publishing industry. Our work has been featured in leading print and online media, like The Times of India, Hindustan Times and The Statesman.
We have been promoting authors since 2015 but in 2023 we finally decided to formally launch the Booknerds Authors Agency to help authors market their books better! Through our innovative Book Promotion strategies, we offer several personalised services to upcoming and established authors to maximise their reach to prospective readers. These campaigns have expanded the author's reach and introduced new readers to their books through book videos, podcasts, Instagram Reels, and many more such creative endeavours.
